Despite his brief time on the field, Yamal managed to take a shot on target, making him the youngest player to feature for Barcelona's senior team at the age of 15 years, 9 months, and 16 days.

However, Lewis Miley's debut against Bournemouth in February 2018 sparked hope among fans that the club may finally have a promising talent of its own. He signed his first professional contract under Eddie Howe in May 2023, just months after his professional debut.
