Job Description


Woolworths stores across the country are inviting applicants who are suitable and Qualified to apply for customer assistant Job.


- Requirements for the Job:


  • Grade 12 Certificate 
  • Good communication Skills (English)

  • Must be Available to work multiple shifts 


  • Relevant working experience in a similar sector will be key to this Job.


  • Computer Literacy ( PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • KEYJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • It is important to Displays a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.


  • Be willing to Offer customers services that is available(e.g. utility bill payments and airtime).


  • Be able to Meets customers expectations and needs by listening and asking to and advising customers as to options/services/products available.


  • Offer other alternatives to customers if the product they want is not available.


  • Must be able to Processes till transactions efficiently and effectively in line with till policies and all procedures.


  • It is important to be able to Scans and packs efficiently at till points and double check all payments for irregularities.

ANOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES : 


  • Be able Understand and promote the different types of methods for payment or transactions.


  • It is Important to Maintain cold chain and hygiene standards when replenishing stock on the sales floor.


  • Make sure that stockroom stock is always represented on the sales floor.


  • Show product knowledge by highlighting important features and benefits of the product in their department.


  • Keep  a hygienic, clean and well-organised till point.


  • Be able to Minimise the shrinkage by adhering to all corporate store disciplines.
